Wow! Just An incredible performance!!

The Ubuntu Cultural Pavilion, a local non-profit that aims to bring the local history and culture of Somerville, NJ to life by preserving the African American history and experience here in Somerville.

Passionate about preserving and sharing the stories of our community in The Ville, they held a pop up museum at the Middle School on Saturday, which was fantastic! A surprise performance from Christine Dixon, who travels the world doing a one-woman performance in the character of Harriet Tubman! It was moving, informative, historical, sad, funny…it captured every emotion and told such a compelling part of history!

An incredible, historical afternoon in our 2.5 Square Miles of Awesome…that’s our Somerville!
